Kennedy was born 10 weeks early on May 11, 2008 weighing only 1 pound 6 ounces. This blog was originally created to keep family and friends updated on her progress in the NICU. On September 26, 2008 after 137 days Kennedy was discharged from the NICU. During her NICU stay this blog developed quite a following and since her discharge my husband and I have continued this blog so that the world could keep watching Kennedy grow. Please look around and enjoy the posts while you learn a little about life with a micro-preemie after the NICU.

I love her bow
I watched the video - so sweet! I thought she did really great for her first time.
I'm happy to see from the picture that they've moved the NG tube to her nose. It should make nippling easier for her.
Don't you just love those little sounds she makes. Oh, how I miss them. Video them as much as possible. The change sounds too soon and it's just so precious.
